We are calling on the Forest of Dean District Council to support local live music at The Rising Sun, Moseley Green, and to provide clear, fair guidance on noise levels for community venues.  Since 2013, The Rising Sun has proudly hosted live music events featuring local bands in our marquee. These performances have become a cherished part of our community, drawing music lovers, families, visitors, and locals together to enjoy a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere.  Unfortunately, this tradition is now under threat due to a small number of complaints from a nearby resident.   We are committed to working with the council to find a fair solution that respects all parties. However, we need your support to ensure that live music can continue to thrive in Moseley Green.  Show your support for live music at The Rising Sun.  Urge the council to reconsider any restrictions on live music.  Request clearer, more consistent communication and guidance from the council regarding noise regulations.  Let’s protect local culture, support our musicians, and keep the music playing
